It’s still Summer --- and you know what that means. Crossing the best activities off of your bucket list and turning them into amazing memories. Now, you might’ve already figured out how you want to spend your time under the sun, but if you need some more ideas, here are 10 things you need to try out. If it’s not this Summer, prioritize them for the next. Let’s go.
1. Drive-In Movie Theater
If you haven’t seen a drive-in movie before, it is a must. There’s something about watching a classic film in the trunk of your car that screams a perfect summer night. Getting some friends, bringing fun treats to snack on, and cozying up with blankets is always a good idea.
2. Restaurant on The Rooftop
Rooftop restaurants call for enjoyable dining and beautiful views. The environment you are in will make for an experience of a lifetime. City rooftops, scenic rooftops, whatever it is… a great addition to your list.
3. Take That Trip
I don’t know about you but traveling makes me the happiest. There is nothing better than being in a new location and exploring all the must do’s of the area. With restrictions opening up, travel safely and channel your inner-spontaneity and let your travel bug get the best of you.
4. Go Stargazing
Stargazing is a fun hobby that’ll make you feel more connected with nature that’ll bring your inner night owl out. It’s exciting when you’re in the middle of all of the stillness, just observing the night sky alone or with a group of friends.
5. Weekend on The Water
There are so many different things you can do on the water. Tubing, Jet skiing, or polishing your water skiing skills are all fun activities for the summer. Even if it’s just a quick weekend trip, being on the lake or swimming in the ocean is a summer must-do!
6. Dance at a Concert
With everything opening back up there is no better time to go to a concert or festival! Feel the music and dance the night away with friends to your favorite songs of the summer.
7. Explore Locally
Finding new places within your hometown is always an adventure. Whether it be going to a nearby park or trying out some goodies at a local cafe, you’ll be more familiar with where you live. Each and every turn, it’ll start to feel like a treasure hunt. Try seeing your town in a new perspective like a long bike ride or neighborhood walk. You never know… there might be something you missed along the way.
8. Add Some Spice to Your Wardrobe
If you ever find yourself getting a bit bored at home, cleaning out your closet and spicing it up with some fresh pieces is fun and gives you a confidence boost! Sell your used clothes to fund the new ones, to a local consignment shop or online with Poshmark. At the end of the day, you’ll feel more organized with a wardrobe just the way you want it. Cute girl summer is here.
9. Theme Park Adventure
Feeling the thrill down your spine right as you speed down the roller coaster is the best rush there is! Grab a group of friends to race down the slides, rush down the coaster and eat the funnel cake with. After all, it’s worth all the lines. Be sure to throw on your Playground for a fun comfy day at the park!
10. Ice Cream and The Outdoors
Bucket lists don’t have to be complicated. Something as simple as stopping by your local ice-cream stand and taking in the sweet summer air is a chef’s kiss. Try out the flavor of the day and appreciate every little moment.
Summer’s not over yet! You still have time to turn your bucket list into reality. Go on an adventure, breathe in that fresh air, and find any excuse to enjoy this season. Till next time!
